Item Donations: Any donation activity incurs risk. The Border Kids Relief Project, its partners, affiliates and/or volunteers, assume no responsibility for the use of information contained within this web page or to which this page links for item donation purposes. No guarantee of accuracy or suitability is made by The Border Kids Relief Project, its partners, and/or affiliates. The information herein is provided as is, with no expressed or implied warranty. The list of organizations that appears in this site should not be construed as an endorsement of any of these organizations or their missions; it is purely intended as a resource. This list will be updated with better information and options as the situation develops.

 

Monetary Donations: Your contributions to the organizations listed in this website go directly to said organizations via their individual EIN numbers. As Border Kids Relief Project is not authorized to give tax or legal advice, you should always consult with a tax accountant or attorney if there is any question regarding your contributions to any of the sites listed here. Contributors must also understand that donations collected via widgets on the Border Kids Relief Project’s website will be disbursed to these organizations’ sites and that the maintenance of these organizations’ databases are exclusively at the discretion of their respective administrators.

 

Please be aware that donations made to organizations listed under Border Kids Relief Project via the "Donate" buttons represent a separate fundraiser for each individual organization. We do not interact with the funds raise or make any profits in these transactions. Volunteering/Donation Drive Hosting: The Border Kids Relief Project serves as a clearinghouse of information about organizations or individuals (hereinafter collectively “organizations”) working on relief efforts to aid child immigrants/refugees with a need for volunteers. As such, The Border Kids Relief Project, its partners, and/or affiliates are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the organizations that are described in this information. No money of any kind is being made off this website. Any fundraising and/or item donation drives organized by individuals or organizations' other than The Border Kids Relief Project's organizing team, are the sole responsibility of their respective managers, including the delivery and proper disbursement of funds and/or items raised during said drives or fundraising events.

 

Border Kids Relief Project shall not be held liable for any improper or incorrect use of the materials or information described and/or contained in this site and assumes no responsibility for user's use of them. In no event shall Border Kids Relief Project be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement or substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this site or materials and information herein, even if advised of the possibility of such damage. As a condition of your use of information shared by The Border Kids Relief Project website or online properties, you, on behalf of yourself, your heirs, successors and assigns, release and discharge The Border Kids Relief Project, its partners, affiliates and/or other volunteers, from all costs, claims, demands, lawsuits, and causes of action, of any nature, for injuries sustained to your person (including death) and/or damage to or destruction of property resulting from your use of the information shared by The Border Kids Relief Project website and/or its online properties.  You understand that this release is intended to be read as broadly as the law will allow. You understand that you grant to The Border Kids Relief Project permission to reproduce, without compensation, your name and image in photos, audio or video and in publications of The Border Kids Relief Project, including print, broadcast and web pages for promotional purposes of the initiative.

 

You acknowledge that you are an adult, 18 years or older, and have read and understand this agreement and freely and knowingly give consent to The Border Kids Relief Project as described herein. (Note: If you are under 18 years old, you must obtain the necessary permission forms from the sponsoring organization of the volunteer projects and have them signed by a parent or guardian.)
